MACHA is holding Congressional Members and Candidate-Challengers in the 2026 Midterms accountable to their constituents' health needs through the common-sense policies we are fighting for--especially safeguarding children and teens.
About Our Mission
Mobilizing Accountability in Congress for a Healthier America has its origins in having fought, and led for seven years beginning in 2019 to safeguard children from chronic disease, expand epinephrine availability, and prevent fentanyl poisonings among America's youth. We are now leading passage of federal legislation in the U.S. Congress to safeguard children from sex-rejecting surgeries in hospitals. We thank Secretary Kennedy for announcing a proposed rule on December 18th, 2025. which will prohibit hospitals from performing sex-rejecting surgeries on children through Finalizing the Proposed Rule within the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Congress must act, however, due to the lawsuit filed by misguided Attorneys General seeking to stop the Proposed Rule from being Finalized.
